Born into a family of French and Italian cooks, she has always had a love of good food and the authentic living it engenders. She believes food is everything, anyone can cook and everyone should have access to the nourishment real food provides. An award-winning writer and editor, she has over a decade of engaging storytelling experience, helping organizations bring their good work to life. Colleen is also a yoga teacher dedicated to empowering people towards sustained health and well-being through the practice of yoga. When she’s not writing, on her mat or in the kitchen cooking, she enjoys hiking, studying herbalism, growing food and finding the next story.
